Because of poetry, emotions are kept and cherished for history. Poetry is unbounded without rules to obey, just rules to break. It's one artcraft in almost every artcraft. It's where problems are started and solved and ended at. But it's not always the truth.

Because of Hip-Hop, a tiny almost non-existent voice was given a microphone. Hip-Hop is straight to the point and more importantly Hip-Hop is raw. It's the only true freedom of speech we have left in this world. It's where problems are started and solved and ended at. It's the truth.

In March of 2002, the name Scorpio Poet.com was Designed. For several months, literally dozens of ideas and designs were drawn out on loose leaf papers, legal pads and computer programs. Simultaneously Scorpio Poet was serving as a place where future members would be recruited. Color schemes were tested and retested and retested. Outlines were drawn out so that the perfect blend of Hip-Hop flavor and a poetry foundation could be found. after 4 months of countless designs. In mid July, Scorpio Poet's first outline was finished. Preparation's were made for its first live action.
The site's face changed over a numerous amount of times. Nothing worked. A chance was taking and the site was shut down temporarily. The structure and and design was recrafted.
Today ScorpioPoet.com only owns a small fraction of the internet world, but it has given so much more back. Poetz are finding themselves not only writing more, but writing better. Lyricist have hooked up and recorded tracks together. Some are in the process of working on demo tapes, while some poets have been recognized by publishing companies. The site has become more then just a website, it has become the home to a huge family. There seems to be no limits on where this site can go, you'll just have to stick around and see for yourself.
